Rich plum flavour and fragrant cinnamon bring a familiar kitchen memory to every spoonful. It is the sort of jam that makes you linger over breakfast: generous, gently spiced and happy on almost anything warm from the oven.

Make a little moment of it: Spoon over pancakes or French toast, spread on buttered bread or serve with rice pudding. Try it beside a slice of warm apple cake.
